Bio – Tony Cobley: Commercial Photographer for Plymouth, Exeter, Torbay, Newton Abbot, Devon & Cornwall in South West England.

Photographer based between Plymouth, Exeter & Torbay in South Devon:

I am a full time professional commercial photographer based between Plymouth, Exeter and Torbay in Devon, UK. I specialise in corporate, commercial, advertising, industrial and editorial photography, creating “on brand” promotional and comm’s images as quality marketing assets. I work for business, education, industry and leisure organisations in south west England and beyond.  I am also a qualified medico-legal photographer. I can take on projects which include aerial drone photography via partner creative professionals and provide UK wide coverage via the Commercial Photographers Network of which I am a director.

I often work with marketing, PR, design and branding agencies locally and nationally capturing images to bring their south west campaigns to life. My work as a commercial photographer involves understanding and communicating brands and marketing messages which often include a lifestyle or human interest element.

I have been passionate about capturing images of the world around me since getting my first camera at the age of 12. Born in Leicestershire and living and working in South Devon since 1991, I enjoy combining my craft of photography with my enjoyment and respect for the inspirational south west environment and its people.

I qualified with a first class BA (Hons) degree at what is now Arts University Plymouth in my 30’s and subsequently achieved Associateship level of the BIPP. Tony Cobley Photography began trading in April 2005, specialising in corporate and commercial photography throughout all areas of SW England, Devon & Cornwall – anywhere from the Isles of Scilly to Bristol. I am also happy to quote for projects further afield.

I create high quality marketing images and the photography is tailored to the exact wishes of each client. I am always pleased to discuss (in person or via Zoom) creative ideas, availability and budgets. I also enjoy delivering creative photography tuition and doing guest lectures and business talks in Devon & Cornwall.
