Dartmoor Photography & Other Upland Images

A collection of my Dartmoor Photography plus Exmoor and also some further away scenes photographed throughout the seasons. Including some from Wales and even Austria. I aim to capture and communicate the way these wild places make you feel and bring away with me some of the magic of these special places. Areas of high ground provide great opportunities for landscape photography. Rugged moorland, open space, exposed rock and dramatic sky are wonderful elements to work with. I live half a mile from the Dartmoor National Park boundary and can see the moors from my window. So I can quickly head up onto the moor when the light looks like happening, hoping to anticipate perfect conditions!
